Meet Dr. Sang Y. Kim (General Dentist)
Dr. Sang Y. Kim was chosen for the combined accelerated program after high school and attended University of Pennsylvania for his undergraduate studies, and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine for his degree in dental medicine. He completed his general practice residency at the VA hospital in Palo Alto, CA, affiliated with Stanford Medical Center. After his residency, he has practiced as a successful cosmetic and restorative dentist, making over many new smiles. Dr. Kim aspires to achieve perfection, without compromising comfort and by staying at the forefront on the latest technologies in dental science. In 2011, he started Dental America of Queens, a private office in Elmhurst, NY. With growing and great support of our staff and patients, he established another practice in Ridgewood, NY – Ridgewood Dental Care.
Meet Dr. Marvin Baptiste (Orthodontist)
Dr. Marvin Baptiste attended Cornell University for his undergraduate studies. He is a graduate and received his DDS degree from Columbia University School of Dental Medicine. During his time at Columbia U., he served as the 2008 President of the Student National Dental Association and was one of the founding organizers for the first annual NYC Oral Cancer Walk. Following graduation, Dr. Baptiste went on to pursue his specialty training of Orthodontics at Howard University. He is also currently pursuing a MBA degree with a concentration in finance from Hofstra University. Along with his many accomplishments, Dr. Baptiste is passionate about his profession. He has great chairside manner, is personable, and loves what he does.
Meet Dr. Vanita Mudgil (Periodontist / Implantologist)
Dr. Vanita Mudgil graduated and received her DDS degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. She went on to complete a one year general practice residency program at Mount Sinai Hospital and spent another three years of specialty training at NYU College of Dentistry’s prestigious advanced education program in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. She is a board certified periodontist and also holds a position as an attending specialist at Lutheran Medical Center. Dr. Mudgil is thoughtful, and certainly an experienced clinician in the field of periodontology and implant dentistry and uses her expertise to care for each individual in order to improve one’s overall health, function and smile.
